A little off the beaten path, Fallbrook is a charming small town in Northern San Diego. Typically known as the Avocado Capital of the World, Fallbrook is home to beautiful vineyards that are producing some of the best wines in Southern California, one of them, Monserate Winery.
Monserate Winery is located on a stunning 116 acre property nestled in the Gird Valley, of Fallbrook California, which was once home to a golf course. Monserate Winery, is a family owned vineyard, that started with a vision to transform the breathtaking property into something that could not only serve the Fallbrook community, but to preserve the beauty and integrity of the spectacular grounds. And they have stuck to their vision to this day, as they continue to expand.
While they continue to build out the estate (where future plans include an Italian style restaurant, wine-tasting room, and barrel room), today, their tasting room boasts views of the lush vineyard, age old oak trees, and a tranquil pond. It's truly a peaceful setting to enjoy a bottle of wine and the true beauty that is the Gird Valley.
Monserate Winery produces red, white, rosé and sweet wines, so there is truly something for everyone. And their woodfired pizza - absolutely DELICIOUS!
